Eric Diep is a Canadian developer, founder and CEO of Manifold (a16z crypto, Initialized Capital) and advocate for independent artists and creative sovereignty in web3.
Previously co-founder of A Thinking Ape (backed by Bill Lee, Jim Young, Naval, Y Combinator; acquired by $EMBRAC) and investor in consumer technology companies. Eric is co-author of US Patent 8918725 on chat systems for mobile devices.
Eric studied math at University of Waterloo, before dropping out a week before his final exams to attend YC in 2007.
